The Women's Basketball Team gets the pick this week for winning the Region IX title with a 65-60 win over Casper College to earn a third straight trip to nationals. The championship was the programs' 14th Region IX title. WNCC earned the title with a 95-43 win over Sheridan and then a 91-65 win over Eastern Wyoming. The Cougars will be facing Hutchinson in the National Tournament on Monday, March 17.
