- Female Athlete of the Week for Week Ending Nov. 3 --

Yuliyana Valcheva, a sophomore from Sofia, Bulgaria, opened the season with a 24-point performance over the Nebraska All-stars in the No. 17 Lady Cougars season opener on Saturday. Yuliyana was 9 of 15 from the field with two treys to help the Cougars to the 106-51 win.
