NPCC Women's Basketball falls short against Northeastern JC
The North Platte Community College Knights Women's Basketball team fought hard against Northeastern Junior College, but came away with a loss, 50-62.
NPCC's Emily Joseph scored 15 points and Catie Whitehead grabbed 12 rebounds.
"We played well for three quarters, but that does not win basketball games. We have to learn from tonight and adjust, as we move forward," said NPCC head coach Jeff Thurman.
The Knights will next play against Central Community College in Columbus, Neb. on Friday, Jan. 17 at 5:30 p.m.
"Now, we have to bounce back, have two great workouts this week and get ourselves ready for Central CC, which is a big time Region IX game," added Thurman.
The Knights are now 8-9 on overall season record.
