Reivers conclude regular season on a 5-set win

Scottsbluff, NE- The Reivers ended their regular season with a win during a five-set thriller. The team traveled to Scottsbluff, Ne on Friday to play one match against the No.18, Western Nebraska. It was a true battle, as the Reivers went up 2-0 before the Cougars came back and won the next two sets pushing it to a 5th set. (28-26, 25-23, 21-25, 17-25 and 17-15)  This was the first 5 set match-up the Reivers would play all season.

 

Setter, Hina Pua'a had another double-double, producing 57 assists while picking up 13 digs. Kortlyn Henderson led the front row with 16 kills, while Genesis Sheridan followed suit with 15 kills and a hitting clip of .435. The Cougars struggled to put the ball down as the Reivers collectively picked up 104 digs. Libero, Ariana Macies was a force in the back row, with a career high of 37 digs.
