Keala Kauanoeonalani "the misty rains from the heavens" Kaio-Perez is back for her sophomore season at WNCC. Last season, Keala finished with 179 kills wiht 337 digs. She also had 32 blocks and 20 ace serves. In high school, Keala was a four-year player in volleyball and basketball, becoming the team captain for both sports her senior year. Her senior year saw Keala earn 2nd team OIA in volleyball and basketball, the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award, and MVP in volleyball. Keala earned those kinf of honors her junior, including being the MVP in basketball and the Athlete of the Year Award winner.

Hobbies: Playing volleyball, exploring, and going to the beach.
What Advice Do You Have For Young Kids: Advice I have for young kids is to stay in school and get a good education. If you love to play sports, keep playing sports because it can get you somewhere just like how education can as well.
What is the Worst Feeling in the World For You: The worst feeling in the world for me would be throwin everything away that I have workd hard for in my entire life and losing my loved ones that means so much to me.

What Sport That Your High School Didn't Offer Would You Like to Have Played: Beach volleyball was not a sport that they offered in any high school. I really do not why, we have beaches everywhere, surrounded by water. Makes no sense.
If You Could be an Animal, What Would You Be: I would be a mermaid but they are mythical creatures so with that being said, I would be a cheetah because they are quick.
What is the Most Memorbable Sportsmanship Happening That You experienced or Saw: The most memorable sportsmanship that I had experience with isa friend on another team gettin a sprain ACL on her left leg in a basketball game. My coach yelled at me for not listening to her because I went to help my friend up and help her walk tot he bench on her good leg with the athletic trainer on her other side. Then I saw out for the rest of the game and we lost.
