Xavier Kirkpatrick, a freshman from Ocala, Florida, had a huge game in helping to the Cougars to a win over Trinidad State College. Xavier finished with a game-high 20 points that included four 3-pointers in the win on the road. Xavier had scored double figures in four of the last five games for the Cougars. He added 10 points the next night against Otero College. Xavier is averaging 9.6 points a contest while making 31.4 percent of his 3-point shots.
