The Central Community College women's basketball team wrapped up the second and third round of the WNCC Classic in Scottbluff over the weekend. A recap of both games is below.

The 3-7 Raiders take on Concordia University JV on Tuesday night at the Raider Fieldhouse. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.

Game 2 vs. Lamar (Colo.) Community College

The Runnin' Lopes defeated the Raiders by the count of 68-51. Lamar led CCC 33-27 at the half and the game remained close until the fourth period when Raiders were held to nine points.

"We started off good, but playing back-to-back days showed in second half," said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. 

Brittney Veik topped CCC in scoring with 15 points. Macey Thege logged a double-double with 11 points and a dozen rebounds. Bailey Lehr hauled in 10 rebounds.

Game 3 vs. Western Nebraska Community College

The host Cougars held the Raiders to 17 points in the first half and 18 points in the second half in an 80-35 victory.

Allanah Beller and Nyamiri Blair each scored eight points to lead CCC. Lehr once again pulled down 10 rebounds.
