Todd Rasnic just finished his 10th year as the men’s soccer coach and ninth year as the women’s coach and the one thing that makes Rasnic stand out is his passion for soccer.
This past fall, Rasnic coached the men to the North Division title and was named North Coach of the Year. That team had one of their best seasons since 2003.
In 2008 he also guided the women’s team to the Region IX championship. His women’s teams have finished nothing but less than second in Region IX for most of the seasons.
On top of everything three Cougars from last fall signed to play Division I soccer (first time in school history). They include Whitney Parker, Nadia Rodriquez,and Ivan Sakou.
With that kind of record, the WNCC soccer program is in good
hands under the guidance of Rasnic, who has been involved in the American Youth Soccer Organization locally and nationally, holding a national AYSO coaching license.
He also has coached in the RECCOS Futball soccer program the past 10 years. RECCOS is a traveling program for advanced players from area towns.
Todd is married to Nancy and they have two boys, Joey and Jarron. Joey played two seasons at WNCC and then two seasons at Dordt College. Jarron played one year at WNCC.
