Rabanal named NJCAA Player of the Week

                Western Nebraska Community College's Barbara Rabanal was named the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Player of the Week after helping the Cougars to a 4-0 weekend at the Crystal Inn'Vational in Salt Lake City over the week.

                Rabanal played at double-doubles in all four matches for the Cougars in helping the Cougars beat No. 2 College of Southern Idaho, No. 8 Salt Lake Community College, and No. 15 Snow College. They also topped North Idaho College to move to 10-2 on the year.

                Rabanal average four kills per set with a hitting efficiency of .253. She averaged 2.89 digs per set. Rabanal tallied 72 kills and 52 digs. She also had two solo blocks and two aces over the weekend.

                Rabanal continued her hitting on Wednesday when she tallied another double-figure kill performance, tallying 14 kills in a three-set sweep of Eastern Wyoming College (25-17, 25-19, 25-23).
