High School Highlights/Honors: Shanelle had 1,000 setting assists as a junior and was an All-Volleyball touirnament MVP, All-state in 2021, and All-state Academic in 2021. She was also a regional discus thrower..

What advice do you have for young kids: "Do what you love to do with every bit of passion you have inside of you. Do what you love 110% with passion."

What are your goals at WNCC: "My goals are to make the all-state team and be all-region setter my freshman year of college."

What does it take to be a leader in sports: "To communicate and make the person next to you better."

What does it take for an athlete to be successful: "It takes drive, grit, hard work, and most importantly, passion."

Do you have a nickname: Nelle because my name is Shanelle, but people call me Nelle for short.

My most embarrassing time while playing sports occurred (when) and it involved ... "Getting hit in the face with a volleyball."

If you are stranded on a deserted island with only two things, what would they be and why:  "Water and my faith. These are the things that keep us human beings alive."

If they made a TV series about you, what would it be called, who would be the starts, and what network would it be on: SGM. Me and my family would be the stars of the show. It would be the life of our family."

If you were offered a billion dollars, but you had to forgo something for the rest of your life, what wouldyou forgo or live without and why: "I would live without carbs. This is because I love bread and if that's the thing I could eat for the rest of my life I would, but a lot of them aren't so good for individuals."
