Kallie Stocking, a freshman pitcher from West Valley City, Utah, had a big win in the pitching circle to help the Cougars claim an exciting 8-7 win over Otero on March 28. Kallie tossed three innings in relief and scattered six hits while allowing two runs. She also had a hit in the game with a run scored. In the first game of the day on March 28, Kallie had a double with two RBIs. Kallie is batting .265 in the season with four doubles. In the circle, she has tossed 51.2 innings with a 3-5 record and 28 strikeouts.

Male Athlete of the Week for Week Ending March 31-- Male Athlete of the Week for the Week Ending March 31 -- Vaughn Wilson --
Vaughn Wilson, a freshman from Riverton, Utah, had a big game in a clutch 4-2 win over McCook on March 28. Wilson had two hits with a home run and three RBIs in a win over McCook Community College. Vaughn tied the game at 3-3 with a 3-run home run and then the Cougars won the game 4-3 in extra innings for the win. Vaughn also had a 4-for-5 plate appearance against Southeast as he hit for the cycle with a single, double, triple, home run with three RBIs and three runs scored.
